I have been writing intensely fast on the first draft of Book Three of the Future Wars series. My hands are exhausted, my characters are pumped for an upcoming quest and some of the characters are a bit annoyed at our Olivia. She needs some time to herself. I'm at a near 21K and I'll be continuing on later. I can tell you: it's hard writing a book series when so many people are waiting for Book Two and you're on the next book, almost 100 pages into the first draft.
I'm hoping to get to 100K in Book Three, possibly more. I don't want it to be, like, 200K, though. I can go on and on over things and I tend to ramble, but it's meant to be in the book. I just don't want to go over the finish line if you know what I mean.
Well, back to procrastinating!
